UTAH PEV
Hall of Fame
Stoker is a cornerstone of Utah’s micro-mobility movement and the driving force behind downtown Salt Lake City’s 801 Wheel shop. More than just a rider, he is a true architect of culture—regularly featured in SLUG Magazine for his dedication to growing the local scene. From fostering inclusivity at his legendary "801 Wheel Wednesdays" to spearheading endurance feats like the "801Wheel108"—where he and his crew conquered 108 miles on Onewheels—Stoker treats this sport as a legitimate, high-performance discipline. His commitment to community, safety, and pushing the limits of the ride sets the gold standard for leadership in the PEV space.
While perhaps less of a traditional influencer, Kent Griffiths, Director of Salt City Balance, is a defining person in the Utah PEV community. He is best known for his monumental “One Wheel, One Mission” project. Just after turning 65 he embarked on a +3000-mile journey across the country on just an electric unicycle! He’s a massive advocate for gearing up for every ride, whether it be small trips as a beginner or long hauls as a veteran rider, everyone should be geared!
He is a titan of PEV advocacy, known for stripping away marketing hype to deliver the raw, data-backed truth enthusiasts demand. By treating every vehicle as a machine to be stress-tested—from extreme performance pushes to deep-dive GPS and range analyses—he has established the gold standard for verified, real-world testing. Whether acting as a technical lighthouse for complex battery and motor builds or championing safety and transparency, Steven is the architect of the impossible for those who refuse to settle for anything less than peak, proven performance.
