Intro2SpeedUtah Sundays999 Thursday!Although majority a bicycle event, they are a very accepting community to all those PEV, despite the rising police activity! The only real rules are to be respectful of yourself and those around you. This legendary Ride has taken place every Thursday for over a decade and has grown into the thousands!!
UTAH EUC Saturdays!Held by Salt City Balance and its founding team, Josh Proulx, Jaydon Southwell, Alex Brewer, Micheal Otterstrom, and Kent Griffiths(who just crossed the USA on a single wheel), this non profit foundation is helping lead the way to teach the community about the amazing wonders of this breath taking technology!
As a branch off of the Intro2Speed brand, this intense group of eboarders are always sure to bring the heat! Similar to S.C.B. they too have a focus on bringing in new riders to show them the wonders of PEV’s!

Host- Community Driven999 Bicycle Thurday’s!
Despite being largely an analog-bike event, they are very welcoming to all forms of micro-mobility devices, though we ask that the mini-bikes stay in the back because of the fumes. It’s a nighttime event with hundreds to thousands of riders so make sure that you ride safely, responsibly, and bring your lights!! There has been a recent rise in police presence due to public complaints but they’ve been seen to be lowering their numbers so it should be back to normal soon, just stay respectful!

PEV Rideout General Etiquettes!
-
Look, I don’t care if you just got your first scooter a week ago or if you’re Tim Ritson; Everyone has a limit!
It’s best to ensure that that you dont push your limits when in a rideout with others. Attempt in private so you can flaunt in public!
-
Unless you’re in a group with hundreds of riders with lights and music, cars just don’t see you and can’t seem to register such small devices going so fast. Anticipate every move as if they can’t see you because they probably aren’t even looking
-
Wearing your helmet is not nearly enough anymore when your single self-balancing wheel can do 95! You should have coverage on your elbows, knees, waist, tidbits, back, chest, and ankles!
-
Listen, every PEV rideout is more than just some ebikes doing wheelies. it’s about sending a message that we can be the future of mobility! So make sure that you respect your fellow rider and when you do tricks, ensure it won’t be at the expense of others’ safety! It should also go without saying that when we’re in a group together, we should not be attacking each other, attacking cars, swerving bystanders. Doing this will almost definitely get you kicked from the rideouts

While yes, PEV’s are one of the cheapest vehicle types to maintain, and a fraction of the moving parts as a car, they still need love every once in a while! Every PEV, regardless of the type will have maintenance to some extent. Tires are by far the most common, followed by brakes, and then screws and bolts always need to be checked to ensure you don’t go wiping out. Loctite can wear down, vibration can loosen things over time. always check your equipment!
